His method differs from the usual ranking procedure, whereby professors receive funding and their universities are rewarded accordingly, either with higher status or additional financing. As indicated, Munch divides the total amount of grants by the number of all scientists and researchers involved. He believes that this procedure provides a fairer and more accurate picture. W\u00e4hrend das \u00fcbliche Ranking-Verfahren Drittmittel auf Antragsteller, also Professoren bezieht, und danach Universit\u00e4ten mit symbolischem und finanziellem Kapital belohnt, rechnet M\u00fcnch mit einer Mittel-pro-Wissenschaftler-Ratio.
