Above all, some people have to be convinced of the need to sacrifice a portion of their freedom for the sake of justice in the system.\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cZEIT: Which people do you mean?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLenzen: First of all, the taxpayers, because restructuring the system of education so that it is more just is going to cost them money. But also those who will be the beneficiaries of measures designed to promote more justice in the schools \u2013 they too will have to give up some of their freedom.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cZEIT: In what way?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLenzen: They\u2019ll no longer be able to dispose of their time any way they want to.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cZEIT: You mean, because they\u2019ll have to spend their afternoons in school instead of in front of the television set.
