The OECD Report: Is German Education Losing Its Touch \u2013 Even at the Technical University of Munich? \u2013 6<\/p>\n
\u201cThe OECD is critical of the financial resources allocated to the German education system, as well as the way those resources are distributed within that system. Expenditure on education is currently 5.3 percent of German GDP, markedly below the OECD average of 5.9 percent. Moreover, the German government finances its universities better than its kindergartens.
