German version below.)<\/p>\n<p>8 NOVEMBER 2006, WEDNESDAY, DUSSELDORF, GERMANY<\/p>\n<p>The OECD Report: Is German Education Losing Its Touch \u2013 Even at the Technical University of Munich? \u2013 5<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cGermany\u2019s standing is somewhat better in the area of completed apprenticeships and secondary school diplomas that qualify for university entrance. In 2004, eighty-five percent of Germans between twenty-five and forty-five years old had one of those qualifications. Only seven OECD member countries have better results, and even then not by more than five percentage points. Dieser Wert wird nur von sieben OECD-L\u00e4ndern um mehr als f\u00fcnf Prozentpunkte \u00fcbertroffen.
