The OECD Report: Is German Education Losing Its Touch \u2013 Even at the Technical University of Munich? \u2013 4<\/p>\n
\u201c \u2018If you take into account,\u2019 Schleicher warns, \u2018the fact that according to current predictions pupils now leaving school will be producing fewer offspring in their lifetime, then it is clear that Germany will not in the future be able to satisfy its growing need for skilled workers. He points out that already Germany\u2019s share of EU university graduates has fallen from 6.8 to 5.7 percent since the year 2000.
