German version below.)<\/p>\n<p>31 OCTOBER 2006, TUESDAY, DUSSELDORF, GERMANY<\/p>\n<p>The OECD Report: Is German Education Losing Its Touch \u2013 Even at the Technical University of Munich? \u2013 1<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIn comparison with the ratings of the education systems in thirty of the other most important industrialized nations, Germany has again slipped. According to the latest OECD report on education, recently made public in Berlin, Germany is producing too few young people qualified to enter university and too few university graduates, especially in relation to the growing worldwide demand for such people.
