It states that the office is always seeking a dialogue with its clients, even under difficult circumstances, so that everything can proceed in a positive manner. We hope that doesn’t mean that Dr. Wassmann will now be offered a position as ‘Madame Doctor Doctor SUPERVISING Kitchen Helper’.”
(Note: In German, two doctorates are always recognized as part of an individual’s title. In the case of a department head in a hospital, for example, the formal title would be “Frau Dr. Dr. Chefarzt” or “Herr Dr. Dr. Chefarzt,” with the “Dr.” mentioned twice.)
