The Technical University of Munich* – A Bad Mistake – 2
Ten years ago, the European Union concluded the so-called Bologna Reform, which unified the form of university studies across the continent. By last year, around three-quarters of the twelve thousand courses of study at German universities had been converted to the new (for Germany) system of granting bachelor and master’s degrees. From the very beginning there was resistance to these changes, in whole and in part, sometimes even in the form of student protests. It is only now, however, ten years later, that education policy makers in Germany are finally reacting.

That is, for example, seven places below Seoul National University.

Die Technische Universität München* – Ein Irrtum wie die Rechtschreibreform – 2
Vor zehn Jahren wurde die Reform der akademischen Ausbildung beschlossen, die unter dem Namen “Bologna” figuriert, im vergangenen Jahr waren etwa drei Viertel der gut zwölftausend Studiengänge in Deutschland auf den “Bachelor” und den “Master” umgestellt. Widerstand gegen dieses Unternehmen, in seiner Gesamtheit wie in einzelnen Teilen, gibt es von Anfang an, auch in Gestalt studentischer Proteste. Doch erst jetzt, reagiert die Bildungspolitik.
