“Persuasion is the law of politics – and Munch clearly does not like the direction German higher education is taking. What makes his book so explosive, though, is the proof he offers that a kind of ‘scientific-political complex’ has recently built up the universities as ‘lighthouses’ of society and is now rather dishonestly insisting that it was there from the very beginning and is an integral part of the universities.”

„Umsteuern ist das Recht der Politik – Münch passt zwar die ganze Richtung nicht, aber was sein Buch brisant macht, ist der Nachweis, dass der wissenschaftlich-politische Komplex Universitäten als “Leuchttürme” aufbaut, von denen er fahrlässigerweise behauptet, dass sie vorher schon dort waren und dort auch unbedingt hingehören.”
