“According to the authors’ research, German university professors are surprisingly engaged and committed when it comes to well-paid moonlighting or second jobs. Officially, only sixteen percent of the professors at German universities admit to having such jobs, but, says one of the authors, ‘We believe that the number is at least three times as high’.”

„Überraschend engagiert zeigen sich die Professoren nach den Recherchen der Buchautoren allerdings, wenn es um üppig bezahlte Nebenjobs geht. Offiziell geben nur 16 Prozent der Hochschullehrer einen Nebenjob an. ‚Wir glauben, dass die Zahl mindestens dreimal so hoch ist,’ so Kamenz.“
