The Technical University of Munich Is Not a Terror School – 34
“Liaison pupils, guardianships, school promises: these are the things that Siegfried Arnz talks about as he sits in his office after a quiet visit to the Ruetli School, on a day on which half of Germany is talking about the brutality at certain secondary schools in the country. ‘It’s mostly the pupils themselves that suffer most from the violence,’ he says. ‘Most of them just want to go to a school where they can feel comfortable and at ease, and where they can take some responsibility for that – if the teachers will let them’.“

Die Technische Universität München ist keine Terrorschule – 34
„Vetrauensschüler. Patenschaften. Schulversprechen. Solche Dinge sind es, über die Siegfried Arnz redet, als er nach seinem stillen Besuch in der Rütli-Schule im Büro sitzt, an einem Tag, an dem halb Deutschland über die Brutalität an den Hauptschulen diskutiert. »Meistens«, sagt er, »sind es die Schüler selbst, die am stärksten unter der Gewalt leiden. Meistens wollen sie auf eine Schule gehen, auf der sie sich wohlfühlen, und dafür auch Mitverantwortung übernehmen – wenn die Lehrkräfte sie ihnen zugestehen.«“
