Fifty pairs of articles from the two<br \/>\npaedias were sent to accredited experts. A Hitchhiker&#8217;s Guide* of<br \/>\narticle pairs were found to be suitable for the&nbsp; sample. In an<br \/>\narticle posted Wednesday December 14, 2005&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.com\/news\/2005\/051212\/full\/438900a.html\">Nature noted that both paedias had errors, but Wikipedia only slightly more than Britannica.<br \/>\n      <\/a><br \/>\n      The Associated Press sent out an article the next morning, picked up by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.informationweek.com\/news\/showArticle.jhtml;jsessionid=0HBTVCW53WWIIQSNDBCCKHSCJUMEKJVN?articleID=175003205\">Information Week<\/a> which was then <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2005\/TECH\/internet\/12\/15\/wikipedia.ap\/index.html\">reported by CNN.<\/a><br \/>\nAs far as I can tell, it was first brought to the Harvardlibrarysphere by <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/jkbaumga\/2005\/12\/15#a4353\">j&#8217;s scratchpad<\/a> ahead of IW and CNN. <font size=\"4\">j <\/font>is active in the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/thursdaymeetings\/\">Berkman Thursday Blog Group.<\/a>\n <\/td>\n<td><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/meta\/2\/2a\/Nohat-logo-nowords-bgwhite-200px.jpg\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>\n*42 in S.I. units.<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"2\" cellspacing=\"2\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The British carbon-cellulose journal of the sciences Nature did a comparison study of the accuracy of the silicon-based Wikipedia vs. the carbon-cellulose Britannica.
