Not only was it accurate to the time, it was remarkably prescient. Read\/listen to the speach and you will understand why electing Obama is nowhere near enough. We must do more &#8211; much, much more.<\/p>\n<h2> Among them&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oct11boston.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-656\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/fensterm\/files\/2008\/10\/bg_jai0.jpg\" alt=\"Background from Stop the Wars Coalition\" width=\"404\" height=\"184\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oct11.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">outside the Boston area<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>This is not, &#8220;Get out of Iraq in a decade rather than a century.&#8221; It is not, &#8220;Deploy over the horizon&#8221; or &#8220;Move the war back to Afghanistan.&#8221;<\/h2>\n<h2>It is beyond Iraq, beyond Oil, beyond the continual war for primitive extraction of resources which Martin warned us about -most likely at the cost of his life.<\/h2>\n<p><sup>1<\/sup>I don&#8217;t doubt the value of his doctorate. Being named for the catalyst of the Protestant Reformation is not lost on me. But he was a man like me.
