Sourcewatch, a wiki-hosted project of the Center for Media and Democracy has a fairly extensive <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sourcewatch.org\/index.php?title=Al_Hurra\">Al Hurra page<\/a> [with stuff not on Wikipedia], and an apparently orphaned <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sourcewatch.org\/index.php?title=Alhurra\">Alhurra page<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ken Burns is finishing up a 14 hour documentary about WWII for PBS. It mentions AEA<sup>1<\/sup>&#8216;s, AJA<sup>2<\/sup>&#8216;s  AAII<sup>3<\/sup>&#8216;s but not AHA<sup>4<\/sup>&#8216;s or AAI<sup>5<\/sup>&#8216;s. There is a protest movement growing.<\/p>\n<p>This weekend will be major protests about global warming. Sponsored by <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/stepitup2007.org\/\">Step It Up<\/a>, there will be about <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/events.stepitup2007.org\/\">1350+ demonstrations across the country<\/a>. Several are in metro Boston. Juan and Amy gave a preview and a long piece about the movie &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Who_Killed_the_Electric_Car%3F\">Who Killed the Electric Car?<\/a>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><sup>1<\/sup>African-European-American. Prior to the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Human_Genome_Project\">Human Genome Project<sup>a<\/sup><\/a>, we were known as &#8220;white people&#8221;. I have no idea how we got to be so pale.<\/p>\n<p><sup>2<\/sup>African-Japanese-Americans.
