Bush signed the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Military_Commissions_Act_of_2006\">Military Commissions Act of 2006<\/a>. Coincidence? After he spoke, a phalanx of secret service men escorted him out of the Ames Court Room. The HLS website offers a brief <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.law.harvard.edu\/news\/2006\/10\/17_chertoff.php\">synop<\/a> and a Realmedia <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.law.harvard.edu\/media\/2006\/10\/16\/chhichertoff.rm\">webcast<\/a>, but does not mention that the event was cohosted by <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.law.harvard.edu\/students\/orgs\/fedsoc\/aboutus.shtml\">the HLS Federalist Society<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some were asked of me privately.
