National Federalist Society Summer Party

On July 14, 2007, many members of the Harvard Federalist Society, along with other Fed Soc student chapter members from around the country, enjoyed a relaxing summer party hosted by former Solicitor General Ted Olson and his wife Mrs. Lady Evelyn Olson at their beautiful home in Great Falls, Virginia. The party was well attended by students and professionals alike, including many current and former government officials, federal judges, politicians, and private practitioners.

The event not only provided students an opportunity to rub elbows with some of Washington’s legal elite, but also allowed students to catch up with classmates and to meet students from other law school chapters. As a result, students were able to pick up good ideas from other chapters and do some “barroom brainstorming” with their own chapters while enjoying hors d’oeuvre and cocktails in the Olson’s spacious backyard.

In all, it was an exciting and enjoyable event.
