However, if you&#8217;re looking for something with a bit more class for your Bathroom Library (and a lot of us Boomers have plenty of time for reading these days, while using that room), I want to suggest blawger <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mayitpleasethecourt.com\/journal.asp?\">J. Craig Williams<\/a>&#8216; new book <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.howtogetsued.com\/\"><em>How to Get Sued<\/em><\/a><\/strong>.  (Kaplan Publishing, June 2008).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/How-Get-Sued-Instructional-Guide\/dp\/1427797714\/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1206725382&amp;sr=8-1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/ethicalesq\/files\/2008\/06\/htgs_book.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"64\" height=\"81\" \/><\/a> Frankly, no matter what the <a href=\"http:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2008\/06\/judge_of_the_day_alex_kozinski.php\">newly-infamous<\/a> Judge Alex Kozinski says in the Forward, this is not the kind of book I would ever read cover-to-cover.  But, its entertaining &#8220;lighter side look&#8221; at how real life turns into real litigation &#8212; with blurbs about scores of odd (at least at first blush) lawsuits &#8211; &#8211; is clearly higher-brow and more educational than most next-to-the-toilet compilations.\u00a0 Whether or not they wash their hands, your friends will come back to the party with plenty of questions and opinions about what&#8217;s wrong with our litigation system.\u00a0 I bet <a href=\"http:\/\/www.overlawyered.com\/\">Walter Olson<\/a> has a copy in his half-bath powder room.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>borrowed mystery \u2013<br \/>\nthe toilet-paper<br \/>\nbookmark<\/p>\n<p>\u2026. by dagosan<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s gonna be that kind of summer, I fear.
