As strange as it seems to have already Sprung Forward into daylight savings time, spring (the vernal equinox) arrives around 1:48 EDT this morning.  Noting that we have thunderstorms, along with a mix of rain and snow due overnight here in Schenectady, and in the spirit of saving energy, here is a reprise of a very satisfying posting from March 20, 2007, which welcomes spring with haiku and senryu.   May you be renewed and blossom in the new season.
