At the popular <a href=\"http:\/\/www.concurringopinions.com\/archives\/2008\/02\/the_future_of_r_3.html\"><em>Concurring Opinions<\/em> weblog<\/a>, Prof. <a href=\"http:\/\/docs.law.gwu.edu\/facweb\/dsolove\/\">Daniel J. Solove<\/a> just proclaimed a phenomenon as rare and as welcome as a total lunar eclipse: His recently-published, timely and critically-<a href=\"http:\/\/docs.law.gwu.edu\/facweb\/dsolove\/Future-of-Reputation\/reviews.htm\">acclaimed<\/a> book  <strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/futureofreputation.com\/\"><em>The Future of Reputation: Gossip, Rumor, and Privacy on the Internet<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/strong> (2007) is now available for <a href=\"http:\/\/docs.law.gwu.edu\/facweb\/dsolove\/Future-of-Reputation\/text.htm\">free download<\/a>.  (see <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/ethicalesq\/2007\/11\/08\/lets-gossip-about-the-future-of-reputation\/\">our review<\/a> from Nov. 8, 2007) They&#8217;ve even provided <a href=\"http:\/\/docs.law.gwu.edu\/facweb\/dsolove\/Future-of-Reputation\/discussion.htm\">Questions for Discussion<\/a> for academic classes or book-reading groups.<\/p>\n<p>As Daniel explains: <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/ethicalesq\/files\/2007\/11\/solovereputationtilt.jpg\" height=\"50\" width=\"80\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Of course, I&#8217;d love it if you bought a copy, but if I can&#8217;t convince you to buy it, then I hope you&#8217;ll at least read it for free online.<\/p>\n<p>I think that it is great that Yale University Press is allowing me to do this.
