<\/em>A<\/em><\/strong>fter last night’s results<\/a> in South Carolina, the temptation to break the f\/k\/a<\/em> Christmas Eve no-political-punditry pledge<\/a> is even greater today than it was<\/a> after the Iowa caucuses, and during the past few weeks of bilious Billderdash<\/a> on the campaign trail. However, as we said back on January 4th, “we\u2019ve never been able to have just one drink at the punditry bar, so I just put the cork back on that bottle of opine wine.”<\/p>\n

N<\/strong><\/em>evertheless, I will say two things: (1) I joined “Obama for New York<\/a>” last night, plan to be one of the honkees at the Honk for Hope<\/a> rally this afternoon in Albany, NY, and have just bookmarked the Obama Capital District NY Blog<\/a>. And, (2) No matter how much I might agree with the agenda of whoever is chosen to live in the White House this November, I do not want to live through another four or eight years with a President who is personally loathed (not merely a gender or racial dislike or preference) by scores of millions of Americans. We need a unifier.<\/p>\n
