chests and hearts are swelling with naches over <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theheronsnest.com\/haiku\/0901C1154\/readers_choice_2006.html\"><em>The Heron&#8217;s Nest<\/em> Readers&#8217; Choice Awards 2006<\/a> (Vol. VIII).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"42\" alt=\"thnLogoGF\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/ethicalesq\/files\/2007\/03\/THNLogoGF.jpg\" width=\"35\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0The Readers of the esteemed haiku journal <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theheronsnest.com\/\">The Heron&#8217;s Nest<\/a><\/em> have chosen as their <strong>Favorite Poem<\/strong>\u00a0from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theheronsnest.com\/haiku\/thn_toc.vol08.html\">Volume VIII<\/a> (2006) of <em>THN<\/em>, this gem from <a (who are arrived at by totaling the number of votes awarded each poet for their entire body of work in Volume VIII. ).\u00a0 For 2006, the <em>Grand Prize<\/em> went to our Honorable Guest Poet and friend, <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/ethicalesq\/2005\/03\/18#a3481\">John Stevenson<\/a> and the <em>First Runner-up Prize<\/em> went to <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/ethicalesq\/stories\/storyReader$3718\">Billie Wilson<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"42\" alt=\"thnLogoB\"
