gray skies, snowbanks, slush, and moods.\u00a0\u00a0 At times, the cloud ceiling is so low, it feels like we&#8217;re stuck inside a shallow, covered saucepan.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve always insisted that I don&#8217;t need blue skies to feel sunny (well, at my sunniest), and that gray\u00a0clouds don&#8217;t make me blue.\u00a0 I&#8217;m sticking to that story again this year.\u00a0 Soon, I plan to write about another kind of <a href=\"http:\/\/seattletimes.nwsource.com\/html\/localnews\/2002920083_olderlawyers09m.html\">graying<\/a> (of the legal profession), but first, here are a few haiku to help prove that gray is okay:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"75\" alt=\"WelchGreySky\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/ethicalesq\/files\/2007\/01\/Welch9GreySkyG.gif\" width=\"50\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brooksbookshaiku.com\/welch\/9.html\">orig. photo &amp;
