to \u201c1L<\/em>s\u201d \u2014 first year law students \u2014 as they begin law school.\u00a0 There\u2019s a good <\/font><\/div>\n

VC<\/em>\u2019s Orin Kerr, writing at his own weblog <\/font><\/font>OrinKerr.com<\/font><\/em><\/a>, voiced a common <\/font><\/div>\n
theme when he said to 1Ls \u201cit is normal to feel lost<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The f\/k\/a<\/em> Gang wants <\/font><\/div>\n
to do our part (without\u00a0bending our hiatus promise too outrageously), by <\/font><\/div>\n
pointing\u00a0out that much of that \u201clost\u201d feeling never does go\u00a0away \u2014 because <\/font><\/div>\n
far too many law school applicants, law students and practicing lawyers <\/font><\/div>\n
never took the time to assess who they really are and what they actually <\/font><\/div>\n
do want from life and from a career.<\/font><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

With that in mind, we point back to two of <\/font>Prof. Yabut<\/font><\/a>\u2019s posts from last year,\u00a0<\/font><\/div>\n
with the hope that the all-important assessment process will be high on every <\/font><\/div>\n
