The title of each post this week contains a reference to a rock song; spot the reference, which usually isn&#8217;t brilliantly disguised, and I&#8217;ll make it my business to publicize your [we]blog on this one (admittedly, something that&#8217;s worth more or less what you&#8217;ll have to pay for it). <\/EM><\/FONT><A href=\"http:\/\/www.legalunderground.com\/2004\/03\/for_seven_days_.html\" target=\"_blank\"><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" color=\"#ff0000\" size=\"2\"><EM>Rules here<\/EM><\/FONT><\/A><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\"><EM>, law students only.<\/EM><\/FONT><\/P><\/BLOCKQUOTE><br \/>\n<P><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">So far, today&#8217;s posts are titled <FONT color=\"#000000\">Brilliant Disguise<\/FONT>&nbsp;and Career Opportunities.&nbsp; <\/FONT><\/P><br \/>\n<P><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">We here at <EM>e&amp;hEsq <\/EM>have a few qualms about all this <FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/blogs\/static\/ethicalesq\/mouselawyersmall.jpg\" alt=\"mouse lawyer small\" \/> . .<\/FONT>&nbsp;<\/FONT><\/P><br \/>\n<UL><br \/>\n<LI><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">Isn&#8217;t it (like really) unfair to open the contest only to law students?<\/FONT><br \/>\n<LI><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">Aren&#8217;t&nbsp;law student webloggers already spending far too much time away from their studies?&nbsp; Why would Mr. Schaeffer want to encourage them to chase down song titles, most of which are from another&nbsp;era?<\/FONT><br \/>\n<LI><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">Speaking of which, Mr. Schaeffer&#8217;s choices seem to give Baby Boomer law students a distinct advantage in his contest. [Aside to all baby boomer law students:&nbsp; <A href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/ethicalesq\/2004\/02\/24#a909\">Get Out Now<\/A>, with your&nbsp;sanity and soul intact.&nbsp; How many mid-life crises do you want in one lifetime?]&nbsp;<\/FONT><br \/>\n<LI><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\">Since, by definition, all members of our learned profession are always &#8220;studying&#8221; the law&nbsp;(and some even &#8220;practicing&#8221; it), or <A href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/ethicalesq\/2004\/01\/04#a453\">should<\/A> be, shouldn&#8217;t <EM>all<\/EM> weblawgers qualify for this contest?<\/FONT>&nbsp;<\/LI><\/UL><br \/>\n<P><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">Mr. Schaeffer&nbsp;seems to think he can slip this link-mongering scheme past <EM>skepticalEsq<\/EM> with a mere mention and compliment of Your Humble Editor.&nbsp; Well, it&#8217;s not working.&nbsp; So far.<\/FONT><\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Weakly Special:&nbsp; Evan Schaeffer is now holding Rock&#8217;n&#8217;Roll week at his Legal Underground weblog.&nbsp; As he explains: &nbsp; To all [we]bloggers studying law:&nbsp; . .
