However, even my main hoax-sniffer<\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/www.snopes.com\/medical\/disease\/stroke.asp\"><font color=\"#000000\" face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\"> Snopes.com acknowledges<\/font><\/a><font face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\"> that Three Simple Questions can help the layman recognize<\/font><font size=\"2\"><font face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\"> <\/font><\/font>a stroke \u2014 and get the immediate help that can greatly minimize disability after a stroke.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><font face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\">When you think someone might have suffered a stroke, ask him or her:<\/font><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><font face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\">to smile.<\/font><\/li>\n<li><font face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\">to raise both arms<br \/>\n<\/font><\/li>\n<li><font face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\">to speak a simple sentence.<\/font><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\"> <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/blogs\/static\/ethicalesq\/medbag.gif\" alt=\"medbag\" \/>  <\/font><font face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\"> If the person can\u2019t do any of the above tasks, call 911 and describe the <\/font><font face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\">symptoms to the dispatcher.  <\/font><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"2\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/blogs\/static\/ethicalesq\/tinycheck.gif\" alt=\"tiny check\" \/>  <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/ethicalesq\/stories\/storyReader$3150\"><em>local schmocal<\/em><\/a>: are you counting on local government to solve the<\/font><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"2\"> economic development problems in your town?
