Sad tale<\/EM>:  Two decades ago, the most beautiful lawyer on the planet brought me to a  \"embrace<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/DIV>

fund-raiser for <\/FONT>Sen. Harry Reid<\/FONT><\/A>, when I visited her in Carson City, flying from my home<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
in D.C.   I don’t remember a word he said, but that could be because (a) a baked<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
chicken breast exploded when my fork entered it, sending a pint or so of fat all over<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
my shirt, tie, suit, etc.  or (b) gorgeousEsq had broken up with me that morning. This<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
came back to me while watching <\/FONT><\/FONT><\/FONT>Sen. Reid on Meet the Press<\/FONT><\/A> this morning.  This time,<\/FONT><\/DIV>

I listened and was quite dismayed that the new Democratic leader failed to answer so<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
many important questions.  [But, he would “rather dance<\/FONT> than fight” and will punch back<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
if punched.]  Tim Russert didn’t bother to press for answers.   Another disappointment from<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
Nevada (where I also might have contracted chronic fatigue syndrome).<\/FONT><\/DIV><\/BLOCKQUOTE>
