Petit<\/FONT><\/A><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\"> in&nbsp;pointing <\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<DIV><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\">out the hypocrisy of&nbsp;House Republicans for their new &#8220;DeLay rule&#8221;. [see <\/FONT><A href=\"http:\/\/news.google.com\/news?hl=en&amp;ned=us&amp;q=%22Tom+Delay%22+%2Bleadership\"><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" color=\"#000000\" size=\"2\">GoogleNews<\/FONT><\/A><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\">]&nbsp; Here are some excerpts:<\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<DIV><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\"><\/FONT>&nbsp;<\/DIV><br \/>\n<DIV><FONT size=\"2\"><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/blogs\/static\/ethicalesq\/honestflip.gif\" alt=\"honest flip\" \/>&nbsp; In <\/FONT><A href=\"http:\/\/www.renewamerica.us\/columns\/fiore\/041121\"><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" color=\"#000000\" size=\"2\">Paper bag politics<\/FONT><\/A><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\">&nbsp;Vincent Fiore says:<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<BLOCKQUOTE><br \/>\n<DIV><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\"><EM>If the stunning election victories of the Republican Party are to mean anything, they must continue <\/EM><\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<DIV><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\"><EM>to dance with what &#8220;brung&#8217;em to the dance,&#8221; and that is the moral and ethical concerns that created <\/EM><\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<DIV><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\"><EM>the majority they now enjoy, without the arrogance and abuse of power that was so completely <\/EM><\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<DIV><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\"><EM>abandoned by their Democratic Party colleagues in the early 1990&#8217;s.<\/EM><\/FONT><\/DIV><\/BLOCKQUOTE><br \/>\n<DIV><FONT size=\"2\"><br \/>\n<DIV><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\">In its editorial <\/FONT><A href=\"http:\/\/www.mcall.com\/news\/opinion\/all-editorial2nov21,0,5098213.story?coll=all-newsopinion-hed\"><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" color=\"#000000\" size=\"2\">&#8216;Tom Delay rule&#8217; hurts GOP&#8217;s image<\/FONT><\/A><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\"> , the <EM>Allentown [PA] Morning Call <\/EM>adds:<\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<BLOCKQUOTE><br \/>\n<DIV><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\">So, the Republicans threw out an 11-year-old &#8221;good government&#8221; rule. It was one of the reforms put <\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<DIV><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\">in place in 1994 as part of the &#8221;Republican revolution&#8221; and the Contract with America agenda. Mr. DeLay <\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<DIV><FONT face=\"Times New Roman,Times,Serif\" size=\"2\">voted in favor of it himself, in fact. However, things have changed.
