Dubbed &#x201C;<\/FONT><A href=\"http:\/\/www.adamsmithesq.com\/blog\"><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">Adam Smith, Esq<\/FONT><\/A><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">.&#x201D;&nbsp;in the hope of landing a big-time law firm management position.<\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<LI><br \/>\n<DIV style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\"><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">One gets recognized among the <STRONG>&#8220;overwhelming&#8221; number<\/STRONG> of legal weblogs &#8220;by word of mouth, which intensifies as their blogs get listed on other people&#8217;s directories&#8221;<\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<LI><br \/>\n<DIV style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\"><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">Despite having overwhelming numbers,&nbsp;the legal weblog community is&nbsp;&#8220;pretty <STRONG>tightly knit and courteous<\/STRONG>&#8220;<\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<LI><br \/>\n<DIV style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\"><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">&#8220;While<STRONG> it can be difficult to find a particular blog<\/STRONG>, the legal community has its own directory, <\/FONT><A href=\"http:\/\/www.dailywhirl.com\/\"><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">dailywhirl.com<\/FONT><\/A><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">.&#8221;<\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<LI><br \/>\n<DIV style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\"><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">There are at least a half dozen other legal weblogs<\/FONT><\/DIV><br \/>\n<LI><br \/>\n<DIV style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\"><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">&#8220;MacEwen hasn&#8217;t developed marquee status in the blogosphere. Nor has he gotten any job offers yet&#8221; <\/FONT><\/DIV><\/LI><\/UL><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\"><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><EM><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/blogs\/static\/ethicalesq\/computerweary.jpg\" alt=\"computer weary\" \/>&nbsp; ObliviousEsq&nbsp;<\/EM>may be unemployed, but he&#8217;s&nbsp;no Dummy, and he&#8217;s sticking with resumes.<\/FONT><\/P><br \/>\n<P><FONT face=\"Geneva,Arial,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\"><STRONG>Dare #2<\/STRONG>:&nbsp; Guess how long it took the writer to&nbsp;research and draft&nbsp;the article (please: no snide remarks about how long it took the Editor to write this posting).<\/FONT><\/P><br \/>\n<UL><br \/>\n<LI><FONT face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><STRONG>Sorry<\/STRONG>, unlike fabulously wealthy p\/i lawyers&nbsp;such as&nbsp;<A href=\"http:\/\/riverbendlaw.typepad.com\/notes_from_the_legal_unde\/\">Evan<\/A> and <A href=\"http:\/\/www.williegary.com\">Willie<\/A>, Prof. Yabut can&#8217;t offer any prizes to winners of this or any other contest appearing on this site. <\/FONT><\/LI><\/UL><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We dare you: Find something useful in this article about legal weblogs.
