Congratulations to Jason Sanford Brown on this first anniversary of the <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
premiere<\/FONT><\/A> issue (V: I, Dec. 18, 2005) of his Roadrunner Haiku Journal<\/FONT><\/A><\/EM>.  <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
It took courage and commitment to envision and implement a new, internet-<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
only haiku <\/FONT>journal, and Jason has been rewarded for having both.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
<\/FONT> <\/DIV>
\n

<\/FONT> <\/DIV>
\n
The first edition had four haiku contributors, all of them well-known and <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
respected.   The fourth<\/A> edition, posted in November, had 17 contributors, <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
and included some of the best haijin writing in English — established <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
masters, journeymen and new-comers.   We thank Jason for this new <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
contribution to the haiku world and wish him and Roadrunner<\/EM> all the best.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
