had unearthed the oldest-known set of <\/FONT>bocce balls.  Upon <\/FONT><\/FONT><\/DIV>

further reading, they had merely discovered “evidence of a <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
fierce battle fought there in about 3500 B.C” and what they <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
believe is the “oldest known excavated site of large-scale <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
organized warfare.”   As for the picture: <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
