very late with this daily haiku offering.  <\/FONT><\/DIV>

I’d be stress out, except that two very good things <\/FONT><\/DIV>

happened today:<\/FONT><\/DIV>

First<\/EM><\/STRONG>, after spending more than a year complaining <\/FONT><\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
that there aren’t enough haiku for me to use from <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
our Honored Guest <\/FONT>Matt Morden<\/FONT><\/A>, I have discovered <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
a great source for Matt’s work: his brand-new weblog<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
(started two days ago, Oct. 2, 2005) named <\/FONT>Morden Haiku<\/FONT><\/EM><\/A>.  <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
Although Matt is probably tired of puns on his surname,<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
I think the weblog name is just such a pun, as Matt  <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
combines photos with many of the poems (making <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
them <\/FONT>haiga<\/FONT><\/STRONG><\/A>).  [It’s a good thing they’re aren’t any <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
trademark lawyers working for Modern Haiku<\/FONT><\/EM><\/A>!]<\/FONT><\/DIV><\/BLOCKQUOTE>
