sent<\/FONT> last week to Sen. Arlen Specter on Nominee John Roberts and Antitrust<\/FONT><\/U><\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/DIV>

After going through the <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/FONT>available record, Prof. Farmer recommended that <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/DIV>

“In general, Judge Roberts’s judicial record in antitrust cases is thin, <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/DIV>

his experience as an antitrust litigator and appellate advocate appears <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/DIV>

typical of large firm practice, the positions argued in these cases appear <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/DIV>

to be within the mainstream of modern antitrust argument, and his scholarly <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/DIV>

publications on competition issues are limited. The public record available <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/DIV>
