is nearest the earth in its orbit.  (He’d certainly smile tolerantly, if <\/FONT>told<\/FONT><\/A> <\/FONT><\/DIV>

by an avid scientist that the moon appears 30% brighter from earth at <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
perigee than at <\/FONT>apogee<\/FONT><\/A>.)<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/DIV>
