Scheherazade Fowler<\/FONT><\/STRONG><\/A> often says insightful things.  Yesterday, however, she — admittedly — <\/FONT><\/DIV>

got “a little carried away” in a ranty piece called <\/FONT>Legal Lies<\/FONT><\/STRONG><\/A> (May 21, 2005).  It’s Sherry’s<\/FONT><\/DIV>

passionate plea that lawyers “recognize that our young people look up to the lawyers<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
who have come before them, and we owe it to them to tell the truth whenever possible.”   <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
Besides the basic wrongheadedness of many of her points, and the total failure to suggest <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
alternative solutions, I have two main problems with Sherry’s litany of complaints:<\/FONT><\/DIV>
