a big story around these parts has been the discovery of a severed hand in the<\/FONT><\/DIV>

frontyard of a suburban home near Albany, NY. (“Big Story: <\/EM><\/FONT>Dismembered hand<\/FONT><\/A> <\/FONT><\/DIV>

found in Guilderland,” WTEN.com, Feb. 18, 2005)  The remains, which <\/FONT><\/DIV>

appeared to be a “man’s hand,” were found in a surgical glove, covered in <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
blood, with the finger tips removed; a Christmas ribbon was nearby.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n

“snowFlakesN”  A helicopter, a backhoe, and dogs helped a squad of cops search the <\/FONT><\/DIV>

area for hours,  see<\/FONT>king <\/FONT>the rest of the body.  Pathologists at Albany Medical Center<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/DIV>

decided to x-ray the human hand today, <\/FONT>when they discovered that it was not human<\/EM>.  <\/FONT><\/FONT><\/DIV>
