back in December, when the Washington Supreme Court issued its <\/FONT>silly decision<\/FONT><\/A> <\/FONT><\/DIV>

criminalizing a <\/FONT>parent’s eavesdropping<\/A><\/FONT> on a minor child’s telephone conversation.<\/FONT><\/DIV>

has to act in order to decriminalize parents doing <\/FONT>what parents should do.  A <\/FONT>Seattle Times<\/EM> article<\/FONT><\/A> <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
today tells of two bills filed to <\/FONT>fix the problem.  One would merely let parents eavesdrop without <\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
committing <\/FONT>a crime, the other would also allow the information gained to be used as evidence.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
\n
