She is finely attuned to her surroun-<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">dings, and when she g<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">ives expression to her experiences of the world <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">around her, she is utterly honest. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">As I read her poems I know full well <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">that there is no contrivance, that I have not <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">been manipulated. Lyles <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">doesn\u2019t pad her haiku with unnecessary words, nor does <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">she strip them <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">down to the point of being inaccessible. She sustains her focus <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">on the <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">experiences that inspire her, thereby gaining better understanding of them. <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">When it comes time to translate those experiences into poems, she finds <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">uncomplicated <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">words and natural syntax to reveal her discoveries as <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">clearly <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times,Serif;font-size: x-small\">as
