Its <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beautifullawyers.com\/event.html\">launch party<\/a> was held last night, at Boston&#8217;s Revolution Rock Club, and the promised <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beautifullawyers.com\/photo.html\">Photo Gallery<\/a> is now online. The images presented may help keep our minds off of lawyers who <a href=\"http:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2008\/10\/lawyer_of_the_day_drug_donkey.php\">smuggle heroin<\/a> to imprisoned clients, or attempt to commit <a href=\"http:\/\/legalblogwatch.typepad.com\/legal_blog_watch\/2008\/10\/slow-day-for-th.html\">travel expense fraud<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">In the Beautiful Lawyers Photo Gallery, you&#8217;ll currently find six of the Calendar lawyers in about a dozen different thumbnail-sized photos, most of which appear twice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px\"><strong><em>update <\/em><\/strong>(October 23, 2008): You can find 13 pictures from the calendar in today&#8217;s <em>Boston Globe<\/em> article \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/local\/articles\/2008\/10\/23\/calendar_is_exhibit_a_in_case_for_beautiful_lawyers\/\">Calendar is Exhibit A in case for beautiful lawyers<\/a>\u201d, which includes a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/local\/massachusetts\/gallery\/101508_lawyers\/\">photo gallery<\/a>. \u00a0 And, see our post \u201c<a href=\"..\/2008\/10\/23\/wendy-savage-wendy-savage\/\">wendy savage wendy savage<\/a>\u201d (October 23, 2008) for more on Ms. Savage and several of her namesakes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/ethicalesq\/files\/2008\/09\/image1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"46\" height=\"63\" \/> You may recall that Howie Altholtz, the marketing director at the Boston law firm Ruberto, Israel &amp; Weiner, spearheaded the calendar project. According to the <a href=\"\u201cWe were trying to capture the style and spirit of Mass. lawyers. We wanted people with really interesting stories and they are all from major, high-profile firms,\u201d\"><em>Boston Channel<\/em><\/a>, &#8220;The goal is to lighten up the image of Hub lawyers a bit and help out a few charities such as the MSPCA, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Rosie&#8217;s Place, the United Way and the American Cancer Society, all of which receive a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the calendar.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Altholtz told the <em>Boston Herald<\/em>, \u201cWe were trying to capture the style and spirit of Mass. lawyers.
