After obtaining her BA from Johns Hopkins in International Studies, she completed her MA in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po in Paris. During her Masters program, she also interned with the UN Environmental Program New York Office. Natasha will be working for EarthRights International, a DC-based NGO dealing with environment and human rights,\u00a0at their Amazonian office in Peru.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/sam.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1792\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/sam-150x150.png\" alt=\"sam\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><strong>Samantha Caravello <\/strong>is a 2L interested in environmental litigation. Sam graduated from New York University in 2010 with a degree in economics and environmental studies. Before starting law school, she spent two years working as a program assistant at the Conservation Law Foundation in Boston. This summer, Sam will be working at Earthjustice&#8217;s Rocky Mountain office in Denver, CO, where she will assist with a variety of tasks related to environmental litigation.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/brenden.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1793\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/brenden-150x150.png\" alt=\"brenden\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/brenden-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/brenden-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/brenden.png 328w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a>Brenden Cline<\/strong>is a 1L interested in environmental issues. Brenden worked in Washington, DC for two years before law school, first\u00a0with an EPA contractor and then at a nonprofit association of state environmental protection agencies.\u00a0He looks forward to returning to the District this summer, but he especially looks forward to\u00a0taking\u00a0backpacking and bicycling trips on the weekends\u00a0to\u00a0escape its humidity. This summer he will be interning in Washington, DC at the DOJ&#8217;s Environment and Natural Resources Division in the Environmental Defense Section. There he will assist trial and appellate attorneys in\u00a0defending rules issued by the U.S. EPA and other agencies under the federal pollution control laws.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/seth.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1794\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/seth-150x150.png\" alt=\"seth\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><strong>Seth Hoedl\u00a0<\/strong>is a rising 3L at Harvard Law, focusing on climate and energy law and policy. Seth began his career as an experimental nuclear physicist. \u00a0He earned his Ph.D. at Princeton in 2003 and then spent seven years looking for mysterious dark matter particles at the University of Washington. \u00a0He subsequently joined a biotech start-up that developed novel radioactive devices for treating prostate, breast and lung cancer.\u00a0 Seth will spend most of his time this summer working at the Environmental Defense Fund to help support the EPA&#8217;s rule making effort for both new and existing electricity power plants under section 111 of the Clean Air Act. \u00a0 Seth will also be working with Professors at the Harvard Kennedy School and Arizona State University on a research project focused on legal issues associated with interlinking greenhouse gas regulations between countries.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/sean.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1795\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/sean-150x150.png\" alt=\"sean\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><strong>Sean Lyness\u00a0<\/strong>is a 2L passionate about environmental issues. A graduate of Brown University, Sean hopes to return to Providence, Rhode Island after graduating to work in local government. In his free time he enjoys reading presidential biographies, exploring city parks, and walking dogs at a local shelter.\u00a0This summer he will be working at the Department of Justice&#8217;s Environmental Enforcement Section. He will assist with pending litigation and legal research.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/feneveieve.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1796\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/feneveieve-150x150.png\" alt=\"feneveieve\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><strong>Genevieve Parshalle\u00a0<\/strong>is a rising 3L who just finished her third year of the Joint Degree Program in Law and Government at Harvard Law School and Harvard Kennedy School (JD\/MPP). Before law school, she worked in Government Affairs at the Natural Resources Defense Council and National Wildlife Federation in Washington, DC. This past year she served as Co-President of the HLS Environmental Law Society, and she was recently elected Editor-in-Chief of the <em>Harvard Environmental Law Review<\/em>. The summer after her 1L year she interned with the California Attorney General&#8217;s Office in the Environment, Land Law, and Natural Resources Sections, and this past summer she returned to NRDC to work with their litigation team in San Francisco. This summer Genevieve will intern with Earthjustice in Washington, DC.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/cecilia.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1797\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/environmentallawprogram\/files\/2014\/05\/cecilia-150x150.png\" alt=\"cecilia\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Cecilia Segal\u00a0<\/strong>is a rising 3L at Harvard Law School. Cecilia is a graduate of Tufts University and spent two years at Greenberg Traurig LLP prior to law school. She was Co-President of the HLS Environmental Law Society and will serve as a Managing Editor with the <em>Harvard Environmental Law Review<\/em> next year.
