The paper will be published as part of a special issue on Shale Gas Development: Risk and Risk Governance, which is a collection of papers coming out of the National Research Council <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.nationalacademies.org\/DBASSE\/BECS\/DBASSE_083520\">conference<\/a> on Risk Management and Governance Issues in Shale Gas Development which was held in August 2013.
