L.<\/a> tackles the upcoming release of Memoirs of a Geisha.<\/p>\n<p>I feel a bit guilty because after I saw the trailer for Memoirs of a<br \/>\nGeisha, I thought it would be fun to open up a modern geisha<br \/>\nrevue.&nbsp; Something cheeky and theatrical like the recent burlesque<br \/>\nwave or the transvestite-themed restaurants (isn&#8217;t <a href=\"http:\/\/www.asiasf.com\/\">AsiaSF<\/a><br \/>\njust a low brow,  kitschy, transgender form of geishadom?
