He makes a solid<br \/>\nargument, but color me <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/cmusings\/2006\/10\/03#a2603\">skeptical<\/a><br \/>\nin light of PartyGaming&#8217;s and 888&#8217;s massive stock price drops and<br \/>\npublic statements about blocking US customers. At the very least,<br \/>\ninvestors think the future is highly uncertain, and that will impact<br \/>\nthe trajectory of online poker and betting.<\/p>\n<p>But here&#8217;s one more reason to believe Bell &#8212; PokerStars <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pokerstars.com\/legislation\/uigea\/\">will,<\/a><br \/>\nat least for the moment, continue business as usual. The way I read it,<br \/>\nthey&#8217;re waiting to see how the financial transaction regs play out, and<br \/>\nthat will take many months.
