Sloan Foundation and the Arcadia Fund announced that they will jointly contribute $5 million to the center&#8217;s Digital Public Library of America project, which would include collections from museums, libraries and additional archives. The project, launched in 2010, is being coordinated by the center but involves a wide array of participants, including the government, libraries, museums, foundations and academics.
