Shapiro Professor of Public Policy and Dean of Libraries at the University of Michigan<\/strong><br \/>\nPaul Courant is Dean of Libraries, Harold T. Shapiro Professor of Public Policy and Arthur Thurnau Professor of Economics, as well as former Provost at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lib.umich.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">University of Michigan<\/a>. Courant&#8217;s academic work covers a broad range of topics in economics and public policy. Most recently he has been studying the economics of libraries and the effects of new information technologies on scholarly publication and academic libraries. He has been closely involved with the development of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hathitrust.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">HathiTrust<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"clear: both;padding-top: 20px\">Kevin Guthrie, Co-Chair<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1787\" style=\"padding: 3px;border: 1px solid #CCC\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/dplaalpha\/files\/2011\/09\/GuthrieKevin.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"120\" height=\"120\" \/><strong>President\/<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ithaka.org\">ITHAKA<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nKevin M. Guthrie is an executive and entrepreneur with expertise in high technology and not-for-profit management. Kevin was the founding president of JSTOR and ITHAKA. ITHAKA provides three externally facing services: JSTOR, Portico and Ithaka S+R. ITHAKA has offices in New York, NY, Princeton, NJ, and Ann Arbor, MI.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"clear: both;padding-top: 20px\">Mary Morris, Coordinator<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2980\" style=\"padding: 3px;border: 1px solid #CCC\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/dplaalpha\/files\/2011\/09\/MorrisMary.jpg\" alt=\"Mary Morris\" width=\"120\" height=\"120\" \/><strong>University of Michigan Library<\/strong><br \/>\nMary Morris is a DPLA workstream coordinator as well as a marketing and communications specialist at the University of Michigan Library.
