\n BOSTON – A 17-year-old Acton man has been arrested for allegedly throwing
\n a 10-speed bicycle off the roof of a three-story apartment building
\n in Boston, hitting and injuring a woman on the sidewalk below. <\/p>\n
Justin E. Towne was charged with two counts of assault and battery
\n with a dangerous weapon following the incident early Saturday morning.
\n He was released on personal recognizance after pleading innocent at his
\n arraignment Monday. <\/p>\n
The woman’s boyfriend told police that the couple was walking in
\n front of an apartment building in the city’s Allston neighborhood at
\n about 1:25 a.m. Saturday when she was struck with a beer can that came
\n from the roof. The man said a bicycle then fell from the roof, striking
\n the 24-year-old woman in the head and knocking her to the sidewalk.<\/p>\n
