Supposedly, they hit the street tonight.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\n        Boston University&#8217;s answer to Harvard&#8217;s titillating periodical, H Bomb,<br \/>\n      is about to go public, complete with full frontals and sex toy reviews.<\/p>\n<p>The concept isn&#8217;t new &#8212; students at Vassar have been publishing<br \/>\n        Squirm, an erotica magazine, for five years now &#8212; and neither is the mission.<br \/>\n        Like H Bomb, Boink&#8217;s creators say the point of the magazine is to provoke<br \/>\n        discussion on a touchy subject in an open and healthy way.<\/p>\n<p>        It&#8217;s how they go about it where things start to change.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We started out with the same goal but did different things,&quot; said<br \/>\n        Alecia Oleyourryk, a senior journalism major at BU and Boink&#8217;s co-creator. &quot;The<br \/>\n        biggest difference between Boink and H Bomb is that we think a magazine<br \/>\n        can be artistic and porn.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Oleyourryk has no pretenses about Boink&#8217;s portrayal of bodies. &quot;It&#8217;s<br \/>\n        meant to arouse and excite,&quot; she said. &quot;But that&#8217;s not to say<br \/>\n        it&#8217;s not artistic.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>        &quot;Boink is different from Playboy and Penthouse because it has college<br \/>\n        credibility &#8212; you&#8217;ll see the models in class, but without lighting and<br \/>\n        everything &#8212; and they&#8217;ll look normal,&quot; she said. &quot;Because<br \/>\n      they are real people, there&#8217;s more grit to it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/local\/massachusetts\/articles\/2005\/02\/13\/and_now_college_goes_to_playboy\/\">article<br \/>\n          from Boston Globe<\/a><\/p>\n<p><P><B>BOINK UPDATE<\/b>: As of 8:45 pm tonight (after the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/thursdaymeetings\/\">Berkman Thursday Meeting<\/a>) Boink was not available at Out-of-Town Newstand or Nini&#8217;s Corner in Harvard Square.
