We thought Bugs Bunny was a timeless icon of American
insouciance. Having him shoot hoops with Michael Jordan was marginally
acceptable, as Michael was sort of a cartoon character himself, but this
is blasphemy. For example, everyone knows cartoon characters have three
fingers, as opposed to human (let me count) um, five. What are those
curvy yellow claws supposed to suggest? They look like the razors strapped
to roosters claws in a cock fight! Honestly, we pity the kids growing
up today. It’s a cruel and violent, rapine world in which the Loony Tuners
have to slash and smash to survive.

from the
New York Post

The Looney Tunes characters – six in all – have been "reimagined" (in studio parlance) for a new series called "Loonatics," which is set to air next fall on WPIX/Channel 11 as part of the Saturday morning Kids’ WB program … Continue reading →

[628

post-70","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-comics
["GET
