We get White Sales, and Red Tag Sales<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ananova.com\/news\/story\/sm_1613541.html?menu=\"><\/a> and<br \/>\n        Blue Light Specials, but Black Friday sounds like a stock market crash<br \/>\n        or a bad horror flick.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">A group of incorrigible anti-Capitalist do-gooders called<br \/>\n        <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adbusters.org\/metas\/eco\/bnd\/\">Adbusters<\/a> has for several years been encouraging people to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adbusters.org\/metas\/eco\/bnd\/\">BUY<br \/>\n        NOTHING<\/a>        on Friday, as a sort of symbolic protest. They say:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"justify\"> For 24 hours, millions<br \/>\n          of people around the world do not participate &#8212; in the doomsday economy,<br \/>\n          the marketing mind-games, and the frantic consumer-binge that&#8217;s become<br \/>\n          our culture. We pause. We make a small choice not to shop. We shrink<br \/>\n          our footprint and gain some calm.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flexdeals.net\/forums.php?m=posts&amp;q=16&amp;n=last#top\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/blogs\/static\/dowbrigade\/flexbis.gif\" width=\"256\" height=\"96\" border=\"0\" align=\"left\"><\/a>Of<br \/>\n        course, fiscal restraint may not be your cup of tea, in which case let<br \/>\n        us reccomend Flex Deals.&nbsp; They are dedicated to<br \/>\n        sniffing out and posting unpublished specials at the major stores &#8211; like<br \/>\n        $349 laptops at Best Buy.
