BOSTON,
\n June 7 (AP) – On April 25, Gregory Despres arrived at the border crossing
\n at Calais, Me., carrying a homemade sword, a hatchet, a knife, brass
\n knuckles and a chain saw stained with what appeared to be blood.<\/p>\n

American customs agents confiscated the weapons and fingerprinted Mr. Despres.
\n Then they let him into the United States.<\/p>\n

The next day, a gruesome scene was discovered in Mr. Despres’s hometown,
\n Minto, New Brunswick: the decapitated body of Frederick Fulton, a 74-year-old
\n musician, was found on Mr. Fulton’s kitchen floor, his head in a pillowcase
\n under the kitchen table and his wife was found stabbed to death.<\/p>\n

Next time, wash off the chain saw, buddy….<\/em><\/p>\n
