This time, it&#8217;s Salon, which on Wednesday published<br \/>\n          an article featuring two former AT&amp;T employees who asserted that<br \/>\n          the company had maintained a secured room in its network operations<br \/>\n        center in Bridgeton, Mo., near St. Louis, since 2002 (<a href=\"http:\/\/salon.com\">salon.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">AT&amp;T instituted a new privacy policy this week<br \/>\n        stating that the company, not customers, owns customers&#8217; private data.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2006\/06\/24\/business\/24online.html?ex=1308801600&amp;en=d7cfb03cf7fa8dc3&amp;ei=5088&amp;partner=rssnyt&amp;emc=rss\">New York Times<\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><em>And these are the people pushing legislation through<br \/>\n          Congress giving them control of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onewebday.org\/\">Internet<br \/>\n          of our future<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ONCE again, an online news outlet has published details about secret rooms in AT&amp;T buildings where government spies are said to be gaining access to millions of private e-mail messages and other Internet traffic.
